Review: Game Dev Tycoon

After watching a youtube video on Game Dev Tycoon I was eager to start playing the demo and spent hours sitting at my computer immersing myself into this game. After a few hours of playing I reached $1 million in game and the demo ended. I then brought the game even with many players pirateing the game. In Game Dev Tycoon you start of in your Garage making small games for the PC. As the game progresses more consoles are released, you can upgrade your office, research new topics and create custom game engines. Once a game is released you earn profit and reviews. One disadvantage about this game is when you recieve reviews on games some say “cant wait for a sequel” but then when you create a sequel it does not earn as much as the previous game unlike in real life. Overall, this is an excellent game and I cant wait to see what other games Greenheart Games release.
